VINE TYPE  100% Merlot

PRODUCTION AREA  Vineyard place in a hilly area in the Regional Park of the Euganean Hills, at the foot of Mount Venda, being addressed to the southwest is exposed to the sun all day; the soil has a dark color, clayey, with few stones and moderately low permeability.

WINE MAKING The grapes are harvested by hand when ripe , transported to the cellar , where they are de-stemmed , then fermented in stainless steel tanks for 15-20 days depending on the year .
After some decanting at the beginning of the new year is filtered, bottled and left in the bottle for a few months.

ALCOHOL CONTENT 12,5% vol

COLOUR  Deep ruby ​​red 

SCENT  At bouquet it emerge refined aromas of berries , spices and leather.

TASTE  The taste is dry and persistent.

PREFERABLE MATCHES Pasta flavorful by sauces based on meat, duck and wild boar.  Also goes well with white and red meats , not very mature cheeses , good with pasta and beans, a typical soup of the area.
